Background: BS degree in Zoology. Experience in multiple natural history disciplines-- fisheries (sport/commercial/non-game), mammals (big game, small mammals), birds, plants (rare, invasive), invertebrates, including spiders. Former contributor to Nearctic Spider Database. Retired from US Forest Service. Retirement project is getting id/description info and photos of Alaska Spiders on the internet. Working with UAF grad student on updated checklist of Alaska Spiders. Created WikiProject: Spider page on Rugathodes sexpunctatus which has been linked to EOL. Plan to do more pages in this forum which is easier to work with than EOL.
